Juliana Smit is a chemistry major at UAA. Her field of interest is environmental chemistry. She has a passion for advocacy through education and spends much of her time volunteering for Identity Alaska. Her hope is for Alaska to become a more tolerant and welcoming place for all people. She spends her free time reading and learning about anything and everything.
